Today main debatable question is the global warming. Is it really occurring or not?

Looking all those glacier melting, increasing the level of ocean, climate change, formation of ozone hole, and acid rain in the some part of China, India, it show that the global warming is occurring gradually, randomly and progressively.
Today, in some part of the countries getting major problems, like in Maldives, Srilankha are affected by flooding and landslide. It is because increase in the level of ocean. In most countries having mountains area like Nepal, Iceland, India are getting problem of rapid melting of glacier. Each and every year people are migrating from one place to other. Because of change in the climate Monsoon rain also affected. In the most of countries, their agriculture depends on the Monsoon rain. Due to uncertainty of this rain people could not harvest their land and most of the people are affected by starvation and different kind of diseases. As looking these problems what we can think that the global warming is occuring gradually.

  1. I love this picture, it provides a very dramatic illustration of the increasing temperatures earth is currently experiencing. Whether this melting ice is actually a result of Global warming or simply seasonal change I can not accurately determine (I am definitely not an expert). Though glaciers may be receding in countries like Nepal and India, I believe the glaciers in Iceland are expanding. Also, climate scientist Dr. Hugh Ellsaesser of the Lawrence livermore National Laboratory has stated that temperature increases over the next few centuries will result in longer farming seasons "since CO2 stimulates plant growth and lessens the need for water, we could also expect more bountiful harvests over the next couple of centuries." This would be especially beneficial for third world countries such as Nepal and India. It is my sincere hope that Dr. Ellsaesser is correct in his postulations because starvation is an unnecessary tragedy. Once again, I love the breathtaking picture you selected and appreciate your opinions!

  2. The melting of the ice caps is, in my opinion, not a very big deal. Glaciers may be melting, but it's part of the natural cycle the earth goes through. The earth has gone through warm periods in the past, just as warm if not warmer than now. And I'm sure the glaciers melted then. And will go back to normal. And then melt again.
